// INTRUDER ALARM REPAIRS

Intruder-Alarm Repairs. Armed and Reliable Again.

Fault-finding and repair for intruder alarm systems across Hertfordshire and London — from a single faulty zone to a panel that won’t arm.

Typical Faults

The faults we’re called out to most often.

False or nuisance activations

Zones showing in fault or isolated ("blind")

Panel not arming, disarming or holding programming

Signalling faults to a monitoring station, where fitted

PIR, contact or sensor faults

Keypad or remote fob not responding

Battery backup faults

Bell box or external sounder faults

Systems & Manufacturers Supported

Engineers regularly work on intruder alarm systems from manufacturers including Texecom, Pyronix, Honeywell and Risco, across wired and wire-free installations.

Emergency-Response Process

The same disciplined sequence, whatever the hour.

Call It In

Describe the fault and we'll advise on managing the system safely while we head your way.

Diagnose on Site

Zone, sensor, panel and signalling faults are traced to the cause, then confirmed with one fixed price before repair work begins.

Fix, Test, Certify

Repairs are completed and the system is re-armed and tested before we leave, with a service or fault report provided.

Diagnostic Capability

Engineers check the full system — panel, zones, sensors, signalling and power supply — to find the actual point of failure rather than isolating a zone and moving on.

Making-Safe Procedures

Where a fault affects the system’s ability to detect or report an intrusion, the affected zone or the system is made safe and the client informed, pending repair.

First-Visit Repair Approach

Intruder alarm faults are diagnosed and made safe on the first visit, repaired and the system re-armed on the spot wherever possible.

Reporting Provided

You will receive a fault report or a service report describing the fault found and the work carried out, and a remedial quotation where further work is needed. See our documentation guide.

Coverage Area

Commercial and residential premises within approximately 25 miles of our Radlett base, covering Hertfordshire and North & Central London. Check your postcode.

Contract Options

Available on a one-off reactive basis from a £135 minimum charge, or under a commercial reactive maintenance contract with agreed response times and consolidated invoicing. See pricing or read about commercial reactive maintenance.

Qualifications & Accreditations

Work carried out in accordance with the relevant requirements for intruder alarm systems, including PD 6662 and the applicable BS EN 50131 series standards. Full company accreditations are set out on our Compliance page.
