// INTRUDER ALARM REPAIRS
Fault-finding and repair for intruder alarm systems across Hertfordshire and London — from a single faulty zone to a panel that won’t arm.
The faults we’re called out to most often.
False or nuisance activations
Zones showing in fault or isolated ("blind")
Panel not arming, disarming or holding programming
Signalling faults to a monitoring station, where fitted
PIR, contact or sensor faults
Keypad or remote fob not responding
Battery backup faults
Bell box or external sounder faults
Engineers regularly work on intruder alarm systems from manufacturers including Texecom, Pyronix, Honeywell and Risco, across wired and wire-free installations.
The same disciplined sequence, whatever the hour.
Describe the fault and we'll advise on managing the system safely while we head your way.
Zone, sensor, panel and signalling faults are traced to the cause, then confirmed with one fixed price before repair work begins.
Repairs are completed and the system is re-armed and tested before we leave, with a service or fault report provided.
Engineers check the full system — panel, zones, sensors, signalling and power supply — to find the actual point of failure rather than isolating a zone and moving on.
Where a fault affects the system’s ability to detect or report an intrusion, the affected zone or the system is made safe and the client informed, pending repair.
Intruder alarm faults are diagnosed and made safe on the first visit, repaired and the system re-armed on the spot wherever possible.
You will receive a fault report or a service report describing the fault found and the work carried out, and a remedial quotation where further work is needed. See our documentation guide.
