COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS · APPROVED-SUPPLIER EVALUATION

Assessing Us as a Commercial Partner?

Everything a facilities manager or procurement team needs to evaluate Group 3 Engineering as an approved supplier — sample response times, coverage and escalation, compliance documentation, and a short application to get an account set up.

Response Times

Sample tiers, shown for guidance — your actual SLAs are agreed and documented when your account is set up, based on your sites and risk profile.

Emergency / Critical Fault Attendance within 4 hours, 24/7
Urgent Attendance next business day
Routine / Planned Scheduled within 5 working days
Priority allocation and any tighter response times for specific sites or systems are agreed in writing as part of onboarding — see Apply for an Account below.

Coverage & Escalation

COVERAGE

Where We Attend

Based in Radlett and covering locations within 25 miles as standard, including Hertfordshire and Central London postcodes, with an extended area out to around 40 miles subject to a travel supplement. Check your sites.

ESCALATION

If a Response Window Is at Risk

An engineer triages the call. If an attendance window looks like it will be missed, our office escalates to your account contact ahead of the SLA breach — so you’re never finding out from the tenant first.

Reporting

Every attendance is documented the same way, whichever system it’s on — one consistent paper trail per site.

See a full worked example of what a service report looks like on our Commercial Maintenance page.

Compliance Documentation

Held and available on request as part of your supplier-approval process.

Full descriptions on our Compliance page, alongside our capability statement and engineer accreditations.

What an Account Looks Like in Practice

Illustrative example — not a real client

A managing agent responsible for a portfolio of mixed-use residential and commercial buildings was running five separate reactive-maintenance contractors across electrical, gates, CCTV and access control — five numbers to call, five sets of paperwork, and no single view of what had been done where.

Consolidating onto a single Group 3 account brought all of that under one number, one schedule of rates, and one consolidated monthly invoice, with every attendance logged against the site it related to.

This is a representative example of the kind of consolidation a commercial account is designed to support, not a description of an actual client or site.
