Check Your Coverage

Coverage results are indicative. The mileage shown is the shortest road route from base, which is not always the quickest one – see how these distances are measured. Results are also subject to engineer availability, traffic, site access and the nature of the fault.

Right on the edge? Call 0330 043 0143 – we often stretch further for existing customers.

This list is indicative, not exhaustive – the postcode checker above uses your actual road distance from base, which is always the more accurate answer.

    How These Distances Are Measured

    Shortest route, not fastest

Every figure on this page – on the map, in the checker and in the two lists above – is the shortest driving route from our base in Radlett to the postcode you give us. It is a measurement of distance, not of time.

The shortest route is not always the quickest one. Time of day, traffic, roadworks, a closed crossing and the access arrangements at the site itself all change how long a journey actually takes, and none of them are in the number you see here. Treat the distances as illustrative.

When an area isn’t covered on the day

Because of that, there are addresses inside our shaded coverage area that we will not be able to reach in a useful time on a particular day, and there are days when an area we normally attend without difficulty is effectively out of reach.

When that is the case we will tell you – on the call, or when we ring to confirm an online booking, before any work is committed to. We would rather say so at the start than have an engineer arrive too late to be of use.
